This video has been drawing much attention lately and rightly so. In such a litigious ‘no ball games’ counter-suing culture it’s refreshing and life affirming to see two human beings trusting their instincts and natural gift of improvisation to overcome a terrible setback.

18 years ago Pascale was injured in a car crash that left her a T4 quadraplegic. Life turned around for Pascale when she first saw the ocean and became ‘mesmerised’. Along with big wave surfer and diver, Ky, she uses a backpack from K-Mart and a load of duct tape to get into some very tasty waves.

Pascale has a Pozzible fund raising page where she hopes to raise $9000AUS so she can go and explore bigger waves in Western Australia, and continue to inspire others who have faced similar setbacks in their lives. Give this video a play and put a spring in your step this morning.
