Procella, the Latin word for storm/hurricane was the brainchild of graphic designer Jason Davis when he fell out of love with the high street surf fashion brands.  Jason says, “I remember having to really hunt about for a t-shirt associated with my sport; it was always great to have something a bit different and unique”.

Starting off just printing a few souvenir t-shirts for friends on their annual surf and sailing trips, he jokes that “these small runs will be highly collectable one day”.

Quality being a high priority, it took months to source a t-shirt Jason was finally happy with. 100% organic cotton and produced in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standards, certified by The Soil Association, Carbon Trust and audited by the Fair Wear Trust, it suited his ideal of both eco and ethical. All designs are screen printed in England using water-based inks, packaged in brown paper bags and despatched in a recycled, biodegradable courier bag. We had a Procella tee sent to Windsurf HQ and will be happily wearing it this summer.
