“In 2019 he returned a new edition of the Somo SUP Surf Championship presented by the Cantabrian Surf School. The Somo beach was once again the venue for the Somo SUP Surf Championship, Stand Up Paddle Championship, which brings together participants from all parts of Europe, and is also a valid test for the Spanish Cup of SUP of waves of the Fesurfing. The Frenchman Clement Roseyro prevailed in the highest category followed by the German Moritz Mauch, Juan de los Reyes and the Cantabrian David Torralba. In the women’s category, Iballa Ruano won over Alazne Aurrekoetxea, Beatriz Piñal and Esperanza Barreras.”
