SUP Thailand Ambassador 2016 powered by Starboard

Thailand saw it’s first SUP THAILAND AMBASSADOR 2016 event powered by Starboard and two of it’s World Class Dream Team Race Riders, the Hungarian Bali-based SUP bros, Bruno and Daniel Hasulyo. The idea behind the “We SUP Thailand” initiative was to train a group of active Thais to understand the benefits and the real passion of SUP so that they can help spread the beauty of the sport of stand up paddling in Thailand.

The training included basic SUP skills for beginners followed by intensive training for a SUP Race, paddle boarding in the ocean at Pattaya as well as sprint racing and fun course racing at Starboard’s Bangkok headquarters. The training even included some SUP Polo for fun and also some social responsibility with the participation in a Trash Hero local clean up on stand up paddle boards.
