On Saturday July 27th 2013, Action Van SUP Club based at Eastlands Boatyard on the scenic River Hamble, are teaming up with local Radio Station Wave 105 to raise money for their charity ‘Cash for Kids’.

The main event will be a 5km Stand Up Paddleboard race from Eastlands Boatyard. Competitors will race 2.5km up stream before turning on a marker buoy and returning back to the finish line at Eastlands. There will also be a 1km race for under 16’s

Over the course of the day AV SUP Club will also be holding SUP taster sessions for those wishing to try Stand Up Paddleboarding for the first time – Please book early to avoid disappointment by emailing drew@actionvan.biz. These will be £10/session for an hours tuition.

The race which is open to all, will start at 2pm, followed by Prize Giving at 4pm.

If you have never raced, don’t worry we will also have a ‘Fun-board Fleet’  (Boards under 12’6″) and we’ll be on hand to point you in the right direction.
